If you wish to cancel a purchase from hokafootwear.uk, please contact us as soon as possible. This page explains how cancellation works before and after dispatch, along with the arrangements for returns and refunds.

How to Cancel Your Order

Use the contact details published on our Contact Us page and clearly state that you wish to cancel. Please provide your order number, the name and email address used at checkout, and whether your request concerns the whole order or selected items.

You do not need to give a reason or obtain our approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right. Keep a copy of your cancellation message for your records. www.legislation.gov.uk

Before Your Order Is Dispatched

We will check whether your order can be stopped before dispatch. Contacting us promptly gives us the best opportunity to prevent the parcel from leaving.

If payment has been authorised but not collected, the authorisation may need to be released by your payment provider. If payment has been collected, the applicable refund will be arranged.

After Your Order Is Dispatched

Dispatch does not, by itself, end your statutory right to cancel. If we cannot stop the shipment, you may need to return the goods after they arrive.

Please notify us directly rather than relying solely on refusing delivery or leaving a parcel uncollected. Those actions alone do not clearly communicate your decision to cancel.

Your Cancellation Period

For most online purchases by UK consumers, you can cancel from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

Where items from one order are delivered separately, the period generally ends 14 days after the day you receive the last item. You must send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us of cancellation. www.legislation.gov.uk

Returning Cancelled Goods

Please use the return address provided for your order, which may differ from the address on the original parcel. Pack items securely, include your order reference and retain proof of postage.

You may handle goods as necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. Try footwear indoors on a clean surface.

Return accessories, labels and original packaging where reasonably possible. Missing original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation right. A lawful deduction may apply where excessive handling has reduced the goods’ value. www.legislation.gov.uk

Return Postage

For a change-of-mind cancellation, you bear direct return postage costs only where this was disclosed before purchase and we have not agreed to cover them. If the required information was not provided, we will bear those costs.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods are handled under our Returns policy and your statutory rights.

Refund Arrangements

If you cancel before goods are supplied, we will refund the amount due without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Where goods have been sent, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them back or you provide evidence of return, whichever happens first, unless we have offered to collect them. The refund will be made within 14 days of that earlier event.

For cancellation of the whole order, we also refund the original standard delivery charge. We do not have to refund the extra amount paid for a premium delivery service.

Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No refund fee will be charged. www.legislation.gov.uk

Changes to Sizes, Items or Addresses

If you want to amend an order rather than cancel it, contact us promptly with the requested change. Whether an amendment is possible depends on the order’s progress.

If the change cannot be made, you may need to cancel or return the original purchase and place a separate order. Availability and prices for a new order may differ.
