These Terms of Sale apply to consumer purchases made through hokafootwear.uk. Please read them before placing an order and retain a copy for your records. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

1. Placing Your Order

Choose your products, select the required size and complete the checkout process. Before submitting your order, review the items, quantities, billing details, delivery address and total price.

You must provide accurate information and be authorised to use your selected payment method. We use the contact details supplied at checkout to communicate about your purchase.

2. Order Acknowledgement and Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected goods. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; it does not, by itself, confirm acceptance.

We accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation. Where products are dispatched separately, acceptance applies to the items identified in each confirmation.

If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any payment collected for the unaccepted items without undue delay.

3. Product Descriptions and Availability

Goods must match their description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for any particular purpose you make known to us and we accept.

Please check the description of the specific model before ordering. Size guides provide general guidance, and fit can vary between products.

Images illustrate the goods. Screen settings can affect colour appearance, but this does not excuse a material difference from the agreed description.

If an availability issue arises, we will contact you. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.

4. Prices and Payment

The order currency, product prices, delivery charges and applicable taxes collected at checkout are displayed before you confirm your purchase.

Payment methods available for your transaction are shown at checkout. Complete any verification requested by your payment provider.

If we discover a pricing error before accepting your order, we will explain the correct price and ask whether you wish to proceed or cancel. We will not collect an increased amount without your agreement.

5. Delivery and Responsibility for Goods

Available delivery destinations, services and estimated timeframes are provided before purchase. Please check your address carefully and notify us promptly of any error.

We will deliver within the agreed period. If no period is agreed, delivery must take place without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made. If delivery is late, your remedies may include setting an appropriate additional deadline or ending the contract where the legal conditions are met. www.gov.uk

Where we arrange delivery, goods remain at our risk until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you nominate to receive them. Different rules may apply if you independently appoint a carrier we did not offer. www.legislation.gov.uk

6. Your Right to Cancel

For most online purchases, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. For items from one order delivered separately, the period generally runs from receipt of the last item.

Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel, using the contact details published on our website. You must send the goods back within 14 days after notifying us. Prior approval is not required.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You are responsible for direct return postage only where this was disclosed before purchase and we have not agreed to cover it. Further instructions appear on our Returns and Order Cancellation pages. www.legislation.gov.uk

7. Cancellation Refunds

Refunds are made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline.

Unless we have offered to collect the goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them back or you provide evidence of sending them back, whichever happens first. We will refund within 14 days of that earlier event.

If no goods have been supplied, we will refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. When you cancel the whole order, we also refund standard outbound delivery charges. Additional costs for a premium delivery service need not be refunded.

Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No refund fee will be charged. www.legislation.gov.uk

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Contact us if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described. Provide your order reference and explain the issue. Photographs can assist our investigation but are not a condition of your statutory rights.

Qualifying faulty goods generally carry a 30-day short-term right to reject. After this period, repair or replacement rights may apply, followed in appropriate circumstances by a price reduction or final right to reject.

We bear reasonable necessary return costs for valid statutory claims. Discounted goods retain the same statutory quality rights as full-price goods. www.legislation.gov.uk

9. Changes and Cancellations by Us

If a problem arises before acceptance, such as unavailable stock or an unsuccessful payment, we will explain why the order cannot proceed.

After acceptance, we will not cancel a contract simply because we prefer not to fulfil it. If circumstances affect our ability to supply the goods, we will contact you to discuss a lawful resolution and any refund due. Your remedies for non-delivery remain unaffected.

10. Our Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Your statutory rights relating to goods, delivery and remedies remain protected.

11. Personal Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used to process orders, arrange delivery, handle payments and provide customer support. Our Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies.

12. Changes, Questions and Disputes

Updates to these terms apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively change existing contracts without a lawful basis or your agreement.

Applicable law and court jurisdiction are determined by the relevant legal rules. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections or access to courts available to you under those rules.

For questions or complaints, use the contact details published on hokafootwear.uk and include your order number.

Before publication, confirm that the acceptance wording matches your actual checkout process. The seller’s legal identity, geographical address and contact details must also be provided with the required pre-contract information.
